This is taken in Claude Monet's gardens, to be precise, the water lillies pond. On mondays, the garden is closed for tourists (over 3000/day!). You only find a few painters. The abundance of colors and reflections, the rich vegetation, the quiet atmosphere introduce you deeply in the feeling painters of the impressionist period found in these scenes between 1870 and 1930.

To suppress the tourist, I used the healing tool in replace mode.

I cropped the photo so the man was not visible. Then I applied an Unsharp mask with the following settings:



Amount: 19%

Radius: 4.9 pixels

Threshold: 0 levels

Pouf ! Disparu le touriste !

J'ai fait une sιlection au lasso d'un buisson.

Ensuite j'ai fait un copier / coller.
