A small serie dedicated to Mr J. Pierre Heckmann, the last ivory sculptor practising in Paris. His family has been exercizing this craft (art ?) since 1913, after coming from Dieppe, a Normandy town with a long history of ivory sculpting and established herself 57 rue Bonaparte, near Saint Germain des Prιs.
