After 12 years being closed for renovation, the Grand Palais, one of the architectural jewels of Paris, reopened for a few days to the public. With its giant glass cupola, it is one of the City of Light's most visible landmarks, located between the Champs-Elysees Avenue and the River Seine.
In October, it should reassume its original function as a cultural center and host a variety of events like music festivals, art exhibitions and fashion shows.
