This was the first time I went to Pushkar. I stayed there for four days. I learnt a lot during it particularly interacting with people before taking pictures and the social engineering and took some pictures which are very close to me. Special thanks to my friends Patrick, Marine and Pascale who had encouraged and literally pushed me to go to Pushkar to take some pictures.

I have created this theme to include some of my works in Black and white I have experimented with.

The Kumbh Mela ("festival of the pot of nectar of immortality") is held every three years in each of four different locations, returning to each of four places every twelve years.
Kumbh Mela is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and bathing festival that takes place at the following 4 locations of India:

-Prayag (near the city of Allahabad, in the state of Uttar Pradesh)
-Haridwar (in Uttaranchal Pradesh).
-Ujjain (in Madhya Pradesh).
-Nasik (in Maharashtra)

This theme is dedicated to most of the daily life images I have captured. Its all of them who are waiting endlessly of a ray of hope. Their hardships and difficult life is what I have tried to capture.
