Well, look at that I got an update up pretty quickly this time. The normal 2 month whole between updates was trimmed down to a week this time around.

I’ve now been on TrekEarth over three years… I had to look that up since I thought it was only two years. It’s been really fun and I’ve learned so many things about places in the world. Now I have a much longer list of places I have to see. Of course it was already insanely long, needing a few lifetimes to accomplish. Now I need several more lifetimes if I want to see everything.

And that’s one of the things that drew me to TrekEarth. I want to see and experience everything and all. And since I can’t currently get everywhere and see all things TrekEarth is a great way to do that vicariously through all the members on here.

Of late I haven’t been able to be as involved in TrekEarth as I once was. Now with the grey winter now a thing of the past and a bright and beautiful spring turning my whole world green I hope to once again get involved. But I will have to wait one more month before I get back into TrekEarth since I will be in Italy until mid June. I’m already so excited that I’ve been counting down the hours until I arrive. I can already picture a beautiful, warm, sunny morning greeting me when I walk out the doors at Fiumicino.

And in my usual fashion I’ve already compiled a list of places to see that is far too long for what I have time for. But when I look at all my maps and see how close things are together I’m so tempted to just keep adding and so what originally started with towns nearby to our home has spread across three regions of central Italy. So when I come back I will hopefully have plenty of photos of all these new and old places to get me back into the TrekEarth groove.

While I’m in Italy I will probably dump some photos online at two other locations…

Probably I will group my Ceccano photos here.

And probably everything else will go here.

And, oh yes, don't forget to say hello to my gnome, Paco, pictured here in my profile. He's the coolest Swiss-Italian-Irish-Mexican gnome you'll ever meet.
