Intro: I am a communications system engineer, traveled the world - S America, SE Asia, Europe, Pacific, blah, blah, blah. Too bad I didn't tote a camera until I got to Iraq. After Iraq, I finished my two subsequent years in Afghanistan and am now home to a new perspective of love and of life.

In my years away, I have learned first-hand of people, culture, life and the politics that drive a neverending struggle for survival in an uncertain world.

What I do know, is that life goes on and that there are always willing people to reach out and show their love of life.

I have learned: counting the dead satisfies the morbid will of few, while holding the hands of the survivors gives hope to all who remain and who will come.
