Intro: Update: November 2006
Relocating from North West England to Paris for a few months to live with my better half until we decide on a permanent place of abode.

In my past life I was a systems analyst in Manchester. My time in Paris will be spent studying new IT skills, learning French and taking photographs my new home city. Life after Paris is not yet written, but then life would be boring if everything were mapped out for us.

Update: April 2007
Well we've just come back from a week in Mauritius. It's the definition of a paradise island. The weather is warm, the sea is warm, the people are warm. You just came away with a warm feeling inside and out. After our last trip to Iceland in the winter we vowed we'd go somewhere for some sun and Mauritius fit the bill perfectly.

Update: September 2015
First post and update for many years. Now living in Western Australia. Go figure )

Next trip? Nowhere other than weekends away for a while, but we hope to get to Italy, New York, Belgium again (for the truly heavenly beers), London, Cannes and perhaps a few other places.
