Hello Hisashi,

Very nice composition using the chortens in foreground. But even more, it is the exposition of the photo and the good management of the contrast between the deep grey sky and the white of the stones which is driving the feeling of the photo.

Hi Hisashi,

I love the bright colors, and the intensity of the contrast between the clear valley enlightened by a sun ray, and the dark sky above the mountains. Under this light, the chortens look like delicious layer cakes! In a way, I regret that you have tightened the frame on them, because I wish I can see more of the construction and sacred inscriptions below. But I guess you had no better option!

The nicely decorated chortens provide a fine foreground to this interesting view of the green valley and the rugged mountains. Your journey to Ladakh was certainly very rewarding. You have been showing so many fine pictures for a long time now.

This is the first time that I see these statues on TE.
You show here a very wonderful picture.
Very nice scene with a wonderful sharpness .
The lighting and colours are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. Nice mountain background too.
The houses be between a very nice green area.
Composition and presentation are very nice for look it. TFS.

I am amazed at the exposure you set to obtain this brightness of the FG chortens, as well as the clarity and visibility of the valley below and mountains beyond. Your capture shows very good depth and a fast shutter of 1/3000 can yield this good exposure.

Hello Hisashi,
Great pic of Ladakh with the well decorated chortens on the foreground, the village and the green fertile valley and the rough mountains. The sky looks very dark for the end of June. I've been in Ladakh long time ago in July and almost always had a blue sky.
The composition is very good and the pic has an excellent sharpness.

Contrast and light management are simply striking, those chortens in foreground fascinating, and the definition absolute top quality. A great overall job, highly atmospheric and very different from what we usually see on TE.
