Photographer's Note
Somewhere downtown New York City -
my next photography-related acquisition will be a
GPS-geotagger for the camera to determine the exact
postion the photo was taken. *g*..and of course the
new EOS 5D Mark II.
I was lucky with the light here because in the
afternoons photographing in NY gets really challenging
as the high skyscrapers darken the streets with their
shades while the sky above is still very bright...

Hallo Thorsten,
groίartig eingefangener Effekt mit dem Licht und dem Blau auf der riesigen Glasfassade. Der Bogen durch die Linse verwirrt das Auge immer wieder, nein, das Haus kippt nicht.

Hi, Thorsten,
Very well composed shot. I especially like the elegant curvature in the vertical lines in your main building. You've taken a weakness -- the distortion of long straight lines in the camera lens -- and turned it into a strength in this composition. Quite impressive!

The point of view works well to dramatize the framing!
