Steinach ar der Ens is an agricultural village of Franconia, an aerea located in the North of Bavaria.
Large farms are aligned at the beginning of the village. Some farms are built out of stones, other with coloured half-timberings.

I love to see the half-timbered buildings so typical of parts of Germany. This is an unusually tight perspective composition but it works very well. Interesting to see so many solar panels too.

Ce cadrage trθs serrι sur un bout de rue avec des maisons typiques me plait beaucoup. Je constate que les panneaux solaires n'abiment pas le paysage et c'est tant mieux.

Een heel mooie foto van dit plaatsje, het licht is vooral ook heel prettig. Het is een mooie rijtje vakwerkhuizen, genomen vanuit een goede hoek en gepresenteerd in een goede verticale compositie. De kleuren zijn erg aantrekkelijk. Mooi werk!

Hello Roger,

This is an interesting shot of the staggered houses with high pitched roofs. The portrait format was certainly the right choice to give the overall impression of their height.
I love the shape that has been left in the sky by the zigzag effect of the roofs.
Good composition, and bright colours.

Goedenavond Roger,

Wat hier meest opvalt zijn de zonnepanelen op het dak, een van de moderne energiλn zoals van iedeeree verwacht wordt om ze hebben.
Het is een aardig idee om de gevels op deze manier te laten zien, in iedergeval een mooie diepte en perspectief.

I am curious how this image accumulated so many positive critiques. It almost hints at an architectural shot, but it falls short due to the lack of, well, a complete building or even a continuous theme. Ahhhh, the juxtaposition of building materials. Hmm, but that had to actually be explained in the note. And how about that cut off road? It looks like you just didn't know how to close off your image. This is not a good photo. Heck, it isn't even technically good. It is over saturated on the buildings while the sky is bland. Ugh. Cheers, Paul.

La courbe du trottoir permet de voir les facades des maison d'un angle particulier. Les diffιrentes formes ou lignes gιomιtriques des maisons sont des atouts ΰ la composition. L'image est claire et nette. La luminositι fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journιe.

Salut Roger,
a clear and sharp capture, very astonishing presentation but well done to only show us some parts of the facades in a view from the side. It gives a good impression of the mixture of construction where the style of the forms does not change. The small inclusion of the pavement adds some depth by the curve.

Un angle de vue trθs ιtudiι pour mettre en valeur cette enfilade de maisons.
Evidemment, le toit recouvert de panneaux solaires en fait une crιation qui sort de l'ordinaire. J'avoue que je ne trouve pas cela trθs joli, j'imagine tous les toits des villages provenηaux recouverts ainsi... mais je pense que, comme je l'ai vu en Espagne, des "champs" de capteurs seront installιs ΰ l'extιrieur des villes.
