Photographer's Note
I've not taken new photos for several weeks.. Deniz (rigoletto) came us yesterday.. He is very experienced about photography as you know.. He came so late and I thought that we won't be able to walk around Bolu to take photographs with him.. But The day was 24 hours:) At night we were on the Bolu streets.. We saw different details with the night lights.. Me, my husband and Deniz.. Thanks both of you..
Here is called "Yukari Carsi" in Bolu. It is similar with Mahmutpasa in Istanbul but here is smaller.. These stairs belong to Yildirim Beyazit Mosque. My husband is on the stairs...
I'm happy, because I'm learning more about the night shots and using light well..

This b/w capture is really beautiful. The perspective created by the rail is very good as well as the shadow projected on the landing. Together with the sitting figure we have a very good composition

Hello ReLa. A picture, in which the black-and-white photography can out-play all strengths. Deep black, wonderful lights and fantastic grey tones. The view is directed however toward the sitting person in the picture, who turns the back to the viewer. Now the viewer needs fantasy. But the informative text explains everything...... Bunu cok begendim. Merdiven korkuluklarinin golgesi cok zarif. Oturan figurse aydinliklardan cok karanliga yakisacak bir tip, epey tehditkar gorunuyor. Degisik bir fotograf olmus. Eline saglik.

Hi ReLa,
this one has such a great composition. I love this man sitting on cold stone in the shadow of the fence which is appearing as his only ally in this dark hour. This display of curved and vivid fence pattern gives only life to the capture in opposite to human figure which seems it doesn't care about that. Excellent BW work with very well balanced light.
