Photographer's Note
Directly outside Tate Modern on the banks of the Thames, looking north towards St.Paul's Cathedral. The spider was created by Louise Bourgeois and stands over 30 feet tall, dwarfing all who come to marvel at it.

Hey, Roberto,
Funny that you posted this. I was just at the DIA museum in Beacon, New York this weekend where they have a whole Louise Bourgeois gallery including a spider like this. But quite a bit smaller. Looks like St. Paul's is doomed. Not a good sign for the new year. Noting those contrails in the air, I wonder if the RAF has scrambled some air support. Happy holidays! -Hugh

Spettacolare. La scultura ed i profili delle persone ricordano le sculture di Giacometti. Ottima composizione e realizzazione.

Hi Roberto. Great visual treat. I think we've all had a go at this one. I took mine from the opposite angle.
I like the colours and sharpness and the fact you've managed to get it all in frame. You seem to have reduced the contrast / desaturated the background. Was this intentional. It's an interesting effect.
Nice work. Regards, Paul.

Hi Roberto,
what a wonderfully surreal image-like a scene from war of the worlds.
Not a great fan of spiders (i'm only 6ft and 15 stone!!) but this is a fine image.
And the inclusion of Saint Pauls dome gives an excellent sense of fun with the different scales.
My regards & best wishes to you Roberto.
David.

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for the warning...as a confirmed arachnophobe, I think I'll give this place a wide berth! It looks like an eight-legged monster equivalent of 'War of the Worlds' and would make a good poster for a movie.
Seriously, a photographer's dream location and you have chosen a good PoV to place poor old St. Pauls in dire straights.
If it was real, I'd definitely be going in the opposite direction!
Well done. Best regards, Vicky
