Photographer's Note
Shot near my grandmother's house where I'm staying. This is a typical family-run convenience store. Usually when a person shows up at the window the person inside says "ano po?" ["what would you like sir?"]
In this case, the kid just stared at the guy with the camera.

Hi Alex,
I really like this image, which is refreshing and cute. The multi-coloured, "texture" of the products, is contrasted and broken by the single boy's portrait. Very well seen and captured.
Cheers Grant

I love the framing and composition you've used in the photo. The bars frame this photo very well and the colours are vibrant. This is an awesome picture!

Hi Alex, love the inquisitive eyes of this youngster, and the repetitive square shapes in the scene, brought all together by the larger central square though which the boy is coming through. Interesting to hear of these stores in Manila.

Hello Alex,
Great capture. The assortment of objects are great for the colour; the grills acted as your frame and the expression of the child... priceless!

Pretty cool shot Alex. Quite the expression on his face. Because of all the squares, I think the centered composition really works. I do think he could be a little sharper and to be honest I wonder why he isn't. Was this taken near Intramurous (maybe even within the walls)? I think I might have shots from here taken a few years ago.

This is a fascinating shot, Alex. It is very different from the convenience stores I am used to. I don't know how you'd be able to see all the things that are available. There is so much to choose from. I love the way the little boy's face is framed in the little open window right in the middle of the image. It's a fantastic shot. I don't know what else to say!

'pakiload po ng isang daang piso sa globe'.....
reminds me of my naughty 4-year old nephew, this boy centrally placed among the sari-saring bilihin is an exception of the 'rule of 9'...an excellent composition and very well presented.

this can be a perfect example for rule of thirds (vertical, horizontal or both)... and quite literally... and anyone who still does not get it should better have prescription glasses.
