Just a graphic shot on one of the numerous subway stairs in New Delhi.
I liked the gradation of the lighter top part of the image giving way to the darker shades on the lower part.
this was a hand held shot at 1/13 s

Hi Pushpinder.
This has a distinct cinematic effect ( seems you have a creative-morbid-fascination to have potrayed an innocent small girl this way :) ??..reminds me one of the horror movies where a girl child with long hair and discoloured face,puffed red eyes staring at you..( The Ring would be a good example ).
Youve carefully chosen the pov,composition - very good idea to leave it in B&W..the shades of grey and the glowing tips of the stair blend very well..The overall effect is "dark"..it has worked definitely..Good work

I donno if you've been following my work Pushpnder, but your photography seems to have the same kind of hint that mine does, even i shot a subway sometime back and have posted it here. Great work.
