Photographer's Note
For a next couple of days, I'm going to take you to Beijing Hutongs and Beijing Courtyards (Siheyuan) and show you some snapshots from the traditional Beijing lifestyle. I hope you'll like them.
I won't be writing much in the info. I'll just let my photos speak for themselves.

Hi Pawel,
I enjoy so much this daily life scenes!
It's very good the composition made with the old lady and the drying clothes.
The woman is located just in the right place to balance the image.

Dear Pawel,
This is a nice take. The composition is nice with the lady placed nicely on the side and the clother hanging across, but I am not so confident about the color tones... think that the light could have bene managed in a better way.
You could try out a monochrome version, which might come up with a classic feel in this image.

This one is a gem, love the colors totally unsaturated, The lady has a powerful cultural presence, you really make her "talk" here. gee, the laundry too is talking.....Bravo!

Herve (Kinginexile) told me to have a look at your gallery. That was a good advise ;-)
This one's cool.
So tthis is the tradinional lifestyle in Beijing: sitting by drying cloths and waiting ;-)
I like the pastel colors.
Only downside: some parts of the cloths look a bit overexposed on my screen and clash a bit with the overall softness of the photo.
