View from my seat crossing over greenland towards the United Kingdom.
If you fly to and from London to Los Angeles often, you might be familiar with VS 007 and VS 008. This wing tip is off of "Mustang Sally", VS 008
I thought I did rather well on this shot considering the dirty windows.
sharpened, added a tiny amount of contrast, the shot was already pretty good

A beautiful clear blue sky, with nice shades of blue throughout.

Hi Leilani,
A wonderful, artistic, almost abstract photograph you have taken here. The sky is a beautiful graduated tint, almost as if it had been airbrushed with not a cloud or a blemish to be seen. The addition of the moon is a nice touch and definately enhances the image.
I can't believe you found a window good enough to take this photo, everytime I get a window seat it's like looking through frosted glass! :(

Hi Leilani, i like this picture, moments in plane are always fascinating, particular, end of a culture and start of a new one at the arriving place, atemporal moments, may be short or long, flights have always same feeling, i do looove those moments ... looking through window is my prefered activity while flying :)Your picture is good in the way that you got so few elements, just a end of wing and the moon, in deep blue ... yes that works for me :) I have too a picture from plane in dominican republic

What an unusual view and daring composition! The "empty" framing works really well with the two interesting elements on the two sides. Nice view of the moon, too and great explanation on the note. Congratulations!

I was having a look at your gallery and this one jumped out at me. I like the simplicity of it, just the wingtip and the moon. The cloudless sky adds to the impact and the red, white and blue of the Union Jack looks great set against the deep blue sky.
It's the shame the moon isn't a bit bigger, but not much you could do about that without resorting to digital trickery.
