Photographer's Note
Here's an older one. This panorama was stitched together from two photos taken out of the back of a bus hurtling down the Karakoram Highway towards Kashgar. I was quite happy with the result, and I'd say I was rather lucky to be able to get two photos I could put together so well, considering how much we were bouncing about back there. In addition, the shift in perspective came out really well - much better, methinks, than if I'd been stuck in one spot, rotating the camera.
The scenery along the Karakoram Highway is indeed spectacular, and it's a shame we weren't able to go very far. These dunes are pretty high up, well into the Pamir Plateau, and with this small lake before them, the whole thing makes for a somewhat dreamy, unreal sight.
I put these together using Canon's Photostitch software, which came with a digital camera. Afterwards I adjusted levels, curves, increased saturation in the top half, brought out some details in the shadows, and sharpened the lot.
I've included a somewhat larger version, so you can have a closer look.

Wow, what a crisp photo, the reflection is great. The deep blue in the sky as well as the slightly snowy mountains results in a great shot.
TFS!!!

You were lucky to get this panoramic shot what with the bumpy ride. The reflection here is very beautiful and the colours are very nice. It's just unfortunate about the noise. For this type of photo the noise is distracting and you should have tried removing it. Maybe not all of it, but at least some.
Thanks.

Very good example of a "reflection work".It is hard to separate which one is the real side.Congratulations.Seda
