Photographer's Note
there was said almost everything about this structure, but it's still considered as one of the most mysterious formation all over the world.. I can add only about my visiting there: Stonehenge is open only till 6pm, I was there 6.10 so could not get inside. but I'm a kind of swindler, so just jumped over the fence and waited till sunset. I used 300mm zoom and took RAW picture to conwert it later using HDR into several copies, just to get different tonal values from stone, sky and grass. the effect seems little bit unnatural but that's the way it should be ;)

Hi Tomasz,
the picture can be considered unnatural, but it is pleasant for sure. HDR has often produced negligible results with my shots, on the contrary the sky you got fits really well the mysterious subject, not being the "usual (grey) dramatic sky" but a colourful and inspiring one. Congratulations, it is a great posting, Dario

Hello,
a photo that is wonderfully conveying the mistique of this special place. The colours and texture of the clouds are unusual and really splendid. Maybe the only problem that I see is the thin black frame - in my opinion it detracts somewhat. Perhaps with a thicker one (or without) would be better.
Best regards Kristof

Hello Tomasz,
This is most certainly one of the most compelling shots I have ever seen of Stonehenge. I have photographed it many times over the years, as have a myriad others holding a camera. The sky is spectacular, but what time of the day — very early or very late — did you catch the stones abandoned?
I used to be a visiting professor at Oxford, north of Wiltshire Plain where these stones stood, and everytime a visitor came, we would traipse down to see them. Don't worry about reviewing it, but click on the following, just to see an entirely different mood. I am very happy to put this photo among my 'favorites.'
Warm regards,
Bulent

Cześć Tomku!
Nie ma to jak wyjść z domu o własciwej porze. Dzięki temu można dodać do wizerunku najbadziej chyba znanej prehistorycznej budowli świata coś nowego. Doskonałe kolory. Kompozycja bez zarzutu. Wspaniałe kontrasty i walka zieleni traw z purpurą nieba

Hello Tomasz,
I think this is the best picture of Stonehenge I've ever seen! The sky is amazing! It was worth waiting for the sunset! I'm just curious, how would it look if there was a bit of orange in the stones and grass? Excellent work!
With Friendly Regards,
