Photographer's Note

Yesterday we went to the cinema and we learn about us. "Letters from Iwo Jima", Clint Eastwood researching again about the human nature and our contradictions.
In the movie there is a tender character, Saigo (played by Kazunari Ninomiya), that the only thing he wants is to be with his wife, his to be born child and rulling his bakery. But because of the Nation, because of patriotism, you are sent to die in a strange island in the Pacific Ocean... Saigo, throught the eyes of Easwood, become a simbol of mandkind, and through several event that take place in the movie, you realize what we ALL are: Humans.

Ive felt so deeply touched by the film of Eastwood that Ive decided to post this photo of Japan, a every day scene, office buildings get empty while people have a drink in bars and restaurant, breathing the air has been given to us by nature, laughing, loving while another day that will never comeback is leaving us... In a faraway land I recognized what I also do in the part of the world where I live. The more I travel the more I understand we are all the same and the differences are the adjetives that make us more interesting (as far as we dont pretend to consider these differences the best way of life, forcing others to take it like it or not, what means what the film of Eastwood describe as a horror: WAR).

Take care and sorry for the speech but if you see the movie you will understand me.
