Hi, Kari. You captured a very nice light here. The orange leaves stand out very wella against the lake and the sky. The church tower is an eye-catcher with its white colour. the reflections on the lake are very nice.

Light and colours simply perfect! You did well to wait and get the best out of the scenery.... I think the shot would work really well without the ducks as well :) Quite simply brilliant trees, in soft smooth 3D feel and then that splash of colour and brightness in the form of a tower. Really well seen!

I like this view a lot, great colours! The swimming ducks make the picture so romantic. I really like this calm and silent lake, and how the trees have changed the colour. Awesome!

J'aime la simplicitι de la composition avec des bandes horizontales dιrangιes par ce clocher trθs fin sous la belle lumiθre. C'est un rιgal ιgalement pour les belles couleurs d'automne.

October was a very sunny month in France even in the North. In Finland, it's more difficult but you succeed with a nice shot with great colors abd reflection.

Hi Kari,
Reading your note, I see that it required a lot of patience from you to take this shot. But you were greatly rewarded for that long wait, because the result is simply marvellous. The coulours and the light on the trees and belfry is just perfect and soft blue sky makes a good background. I like your symmetrical composition and those two small ducks had the good idea of being there just at the right time.

Yes, this was what I was thinking when I saw the Spring version. A wide view of the place with the entire reflection. I still like the other composition because the tower gets more preeminence, but this one is even better for my taste. You know I like wide views... I would have cropped a little on the right. Probably by the last dark tree. I think that little brown bush in the far right (close to the water edge) doesn't belong there. And the little ducks too... They are so close to the edge of the frame to make a difference. Great warmth.
