Photographer's Note
Another picture of a small fishing boat. Taken on a beach near the small town called, Callela. The town is situated about 50 km from Barcalona. I was for holiday in the captital of Spain. For one day we take the train, to go to the Costa's. At the end of the day i found this beautiful spot. There where a lot of little fishing boats. They had very nice colors of white, blue and red.
The weather was very calm. There where small waves and you can see some bouys in the water. The sand was very light, almost white!
This time i set my focus only on the boat, but the sand become also sharp. But i like it.

The hull is extremelly beautiful due to a good usage of the light. It contrasts with the blue water in the background. The sand in the foreground is well rendered with these shadows and relief.

A simple, but clever composition, Robbert. Great horizontal layers of sand, water, sky - and an ideally placed boat. Light and contrast are at the best here, the details in the undulations of the sand are very nice. The rope and letters/numbers on the boat are interesting details. Well done.

Je crois que c'est le relief du sable qui fait de cette photo sa rιussite :o) les monticules amθnent jusqu'ΰ la coque et le rappel de couleur se fait sur le cordage. la coque tranche bien avec le bleu de l'ocιan... Photo trθs agrιable effectivement ΰ regarder :o)
