Photographer's Note
In the Garibaldi Lake series... this is the view looking south towards Vancouver. The white mountian is Mt Garibaldi and the color of glacier water comes up in the afernoon sun. Over on Battleship Island on the rocks, a few people are enjoying the scenery. The trail on the right still had snow along the edge of the lake and also in the campsite. A very beautiful place to calm the inner soul from the trials of life. I cannot find a better place to enjoy the summer sun!

Hey paul
I need to travel more. Quite stunning scenery. The color of the water, pale green, is fantastic. So thats what glacier water looks like when it melts? Good perspective and very nice balance between sky, mountains and water. I also like the human touch, with people enjoying the same view.

Another fantastic shot of Garibaldi Lake. I can never get enough of such beautiful scenery. I love how the water is transparent in the foreground and greenish-blue near the back. The surrounding snowy mountain scenery tops this shot off! Great composition and beautiful details. Well done, Paul!

Hi Paul. You know I was trying to do my critique on my back deck with my shiny new laptop and all I got was two mosquito bites, lol! Nevertheless you’ve got another beautiful shot from your trip up there. I always like rippled reflections and again I’m still impressed there was still snow up there. Awesome work Paul!!

Nice reflections off the lake with this one, and the high f/stop ensured you're capturing alot of detail.

De la neige , mais une impression de douce chaleur et de confort pour renforcer le calme qui ιmane du lieu.

Hi Paul,
I thought the framing on your other Garibaldi shot was great, this is even better!! The horizontal view lets you capture the wonderful reflections in the lake. I also like the play of shadows on the snow. The colors are perfectly saturated, the detail is incrdibly sharp and there's not a hint of noise or halos!!
