Mango season is almost ending in the Dominican Republic. Mangos are simply my favorite fruit since I was a kid. And Banν's mangos are famous for being the juiciest of all them. After returning from a quick trip to Banν, I stopped to buy a few mangos and I met this nice guy named Wilkins. He has his fruitshop alongside the highway (as most of his colleagues do). In his shop you can find all kind of fruits and vegetables, but mangos are a clear winner as you get caught by their intense yellow-to-orange bright colors.

I took this simple shot focusing the mangos and closing the diafragma at most to have Wilkins blurred. I was using the FLD filter and the whole image seems to be too dark. After downloading I tried to enhance a little brightness on Wilkins and the background. Next time I'll use the PL filter and better DOF.

La temporada de mangos ya casi termina en la Repϊblica Dominicana. Los mangos son simplemente mis frutas favoritas desde que era niρo. Y los de Banν son famosos por ser los mαs jugosos. De regreso de un rαpido viaje a Banν, me detuve a comprar algunos mangos y conocν a este agradable vendedor llamado Wilkins. Tiene su ventorrillo junto a la carretera (igual que el resto de sus colegas). En su puesto de frutas podrνamos encontrar casi cualquier tipo de fruta o vegetales, pero los mangos son sin dudas los mαs llamativos, con su intenso color amarillo-anaranjado brillante.

Tomι esta sencilla foto enfocando los mangos y cerrando el diafragma a lo mαximo para provocar que Wilkins saliese desenfocado. Estaba usando el filtro FLD, lo que hace aparecer oscura toda la imagen. Una vez descargada, hice algo de PP para aclarar a Wilkins y el background. La prσxima vez usarι el filtro PL y buscarι un mejor DOF.
