It was a really exciting night in the sky over Iceland capital.
I went there in december mostly to see the northern lights, but until this night nothing happened. It was a very cold night, but the spectacle was marvellous for more than one hour.

Very beautiful picture, Christian! Good emphasize on the sky but including the city below for a perspective!
Good exposure control!

Well seen and captured! Takes some patience to get this. It's nice with some foreground in the form of the town and some of Esja. I could recommend Neatimage for some additional noise reduction. It could also benefit from some color correction to reduce the green as seen in the fringes of the clouds. I have some aurora photos from Reykjavνk here at TE for comparison. Well done.
Best regards, Fredrik

Fιlicitation.

Hi
For me this is something incredible; I'd be shocked during this kind of show. Definitely, this is one of the thinks I need to see in this lifetime.
The effect is great - I wonder how hard was to capture such a beauty.
Take care
