Morning fog XXIX, a photo from Oost-Vlaanderen, Flanders

Photographer's Note

A picture taken yesterday morning in Maldegem on one mile of the Netherlands borders.
Very extraordinarily its cows in November 20 at graze with a temperature above the five degrees Celsius.
In Flanders we have no winter perhaps not normal, but good for men and animals.

I have used a monopod.

This is my orginal picture.

et oui, revoici le brouillard un peu partout dans les pays et ceux qui ont le courage de sortitr leur appareil par ces premiers froids, nous offrent de belles images comme la tienne.
Une atmosphθre de solitude et d'ιgarement.

J'aimes vraiment beaucoup cette photo !!!

L'ambiance, la composition, les couleurs, tout y est !!!

Par contre, je ne sais pas si c'est la compression jpeg ou un abus de filtre sharpen mais on voit des artefacts sur les cotιs des arbres.....

Mooi zachte kleuren in deze mistige morgen, leuk je shuchtere ochtend acteur half vershlen achter de boom met een blik naar jou toe van 'wat moet dat nou ?'

Fijne zachte kleurtonen en mooi grafish gebruik van de boomstammen als herhaling in gradiants.

A fine autumnal painting, John, in which the cow strikes a nice pose amidst the fog-engulfed trees. The ambience of the foggy morning is ideally rendered with the way in which the visibility gradually diminishes towards the background.

Dag John,

stilletjes hoop ik dat er deze week nog enkele mistdagen komen voor foto's. Deze morgen bevoorbeeld kwam de zon door de mist en leverde mooie beelden op bij de bomen bij ons huis, maar ja, ik kwam uit de nacht en moest het beddeke in... O ja : je foto... prachtwerk, John. Het koetje erbij is een mooi extraatje.

This is fairy-like, like it isn't a real landscape with this cow, a strange place for the cow, looking at you/us, saying: Come into my dream.....

Hallo, John. Er heerst een zeer mooie atmosfeer in dit beeld met de bomen die geleidelijk in de mist verdwijnen. Een mooie groene kleur op de voorgrond en de koe die een beetje contrast brent in de overheersende kleuren.

Hello John, the fog makes for a really atmospheric shot. The trees lead us into the picture... but to what? That's for our imagination. It's looks like there are maybe a couple of people out there somewhere in this sea of mist. Well, anyway, forget all that. This pic is worth a green smiley just for the perfect cow. It stands and looks at us over its shoulder so nonchalently.

it could be a simply pic of a foggy morning ... but you captured a big detail ... this cow that tried to hide behind the tree ! I miss a good picture two weeks ago : a cow stand behind a wall, hiden by this wall, and the farmer was walking in opposite way ... it was like a game 'Find me if you can !'

Very atmospheric cold foggy gray landscape. However it's gentle and very attractively balanced with just enough highlights and min colours to suit the condition. The cow rests the focus so effectively. Excellent shot
