Photographer's Note
It may look a little over saturated but I was going for a look that made the dunes look like molten gold. I quite like it - what do you think? I welcome any comments.
I love the fact that you can drive for half an hour out of Dubai and come to this beautiful rolling desert. There's even a nature reserve out here now where the arabian oryx is to be realeased into the wild again.

Beautiful!
The flair is a little too ,uch, but even with it, it's beautiful.
In color, raw landscape, texture, pattern, prespective. Wonderful!

Wow Claire, very hot colors. By looking the picture, we can feel the heat! Lens flares add something more to the composition. Love it!

Who care about the lens flare, it adds to this picture in a way that it will ruin another. Looks very alien. Ever see the film Dune?

Hi Claire,
there's just one word to describe this photo… brilliant. Even the title is good :)
The composition is excellent and so is the colours, and even though the Sun flare is a bit excessive, it adds to the “feel” of the landscape.
The shadows, stones and footprints make this picture’s texture fascinating, filled with lots of little details.

Actually, I don’t know why no one likes the lens flare. I like them and especially in pictures like this one. Looks like you are at some distant desert moon, where the sand is made of gold. The colors and details are brilliant.
