Photographer's Note
Just like my previous posting, this is another photo from mine and my mother’s regular “photo expeditions.”
This photo was taken at Loafers Lake (a busy airport for many Canadian Geese!). It’s about a 5 minute drive from our house. The conditions were hard to work with as it was dark and very foggy day. Walking around the perimeters of the lake, there was this burst of colour. A lifesaver hung on a post.
The only change that I have done is a slight crop on the bottom to remove another hole where the white rope was coming out of. I know that this photo is not the sharpest of shots, but I thought I’d post it anyways. =)

A bold composition. I like the diagonal flow and the strong saturation.
Though I think this could be improved with a little sharper focus, better light and more striking background (the white is too similar to the white of the rope). Alot of this isn't your fault, this was clearly taken during a cloudy day and this is why the light is so flat, and also I assume the background is the sky (thus is white).
Anyways, good job your pics are improving!

Very eyecatching colors and a well working composition. I would have given you two points if it had been sharp to.
