Photographer's Note
The city of Sanya is a stretched out area along the southern coast of Hainan island in China. It has many beautiful beaches, but because most Chinese cannot swim, only a couple of places are popular among the Chinese where the water is shallow and safe. This leaves most beaches quite deserted, like this one, at the most western area of the city.
