hi hermann, i can see that today is a pretty much of a food-day for many visitors;
i always loved markets shots - they are so powerful opportunities for photographers!

This is an interesting photo of your town Hermann - there are so many parallels with where I live - similarly a very old town (originally with a Germanic name) , roughly the same size and also dependent on mills for it's economic viability....now all gone. Pharmaceuticals and education are our big industries today.

We have a big twice weekly market in the town but it is not the nicest architecture. German 'old town' buildings are something else - is your town twinned with somewhere in the UK?

Nice to see your hometown too! And with white trees! :-) There was so much snow the last week in Holland and also Western-Germany. I was, as you know, in Berlin and there was only a little bit snow, but when I traveled home today by train, I saw how much there had fallen.
There are nice colours in the foreground, contrasting well with the white background! Well done and thanx!

What a pretty city Bocholt with a very nice football club too, this market day on the Osterstrasse give nice composition, also the home town on the background, very well seen!

Nice image of a daily life scene. I also must go to a market to take some photos as it is an interesting place. I particularly like the fade of the back which places the emphasis in the foreground action. Good use of the diagonal framing.

Very nice way to present youe home town. Good contrast with the snow in the tree and the selling of vegetable outside. Here those two things dont go togheter. Really good colors and well chosen point of view.
