Photographer's Note

El Fontan Square in Oviedo is a market square from the 13th century. It was built in place of the dried lake, the only remnant of the lake is a fountain.
It is a large square with street stalls and a covered market hall, restaurants and cafes around the square.
In 1996 the city authorities ordered the demolition due to the poor condition of the buildings.
The house in my photo is the only remaining house, built in 1792, rebuilt in 1997. Today it is a famous restaurant serving cider and cuisine from Asturias
In WS I posted a photo of a part of the covered market hall.
