Photographer's Note
I had an aged camera body that took me several trips to Cambodia, China, Laos, Singapore and Vietnam. I am planning to retire, but when I gave away this Canon EOS 20D body, nobody wants to take it.
Instead of let it land the dumpster, I sent it out for being converted into a permanent infrared camera. Once it is converted, as you knew, we don't have the choice to convert it back to normal.
With the conversion done, I forced myself into one-way path: to learn and play and live with infrared photography.
The camera returned 2 days ago and Houston sky is raining, or darkened without cloud. The weather forecast kept saying that there will be raining more in the next several days, including weekend.
I've lost my patience. This is my first shot, right in front of the condominium where I live since 1994.
20 years at this same address. But the infrared offers my eyes a different scene. I will bring this picture with me when I move to the next residence in a few more months.
Please share with me. Thanks.

Beautiful first attempt, Thanh! Trees (foliage) are known to be a very good subject for IR photography, resulting in spectacular visual effects.
I cannot help associating this view with similar ones I had this winter in my town due to white frost though. :)
My best wishes for the new beginnings ahead of you, dear Thanh!
