Photographer's Note
Nella mitologia greca si racconta come una ninfa di nome Clizia si fosse innamorata del dio del sole Apollo e non facesse altro che guardare il suo carro volare nel cielo. Nove giorni dopo venne perς trasformata in un girasole.
I girasoli erano anche i fiori piω amati da Van Gogh che li ha ritratti in vari modi, creando dipinti ancora oggi imitati e proposti.

Ciao Carlo. A beautiful presentation of girasole. I wonder why the other ones are pointing in another direction? Did an Italian politician drive past? I don't know how you achieved the soft colours but I do like it. Maybe the sunlight wasn't too strong. Ciao. Klaudio.

A warm and lovely picture. Nice symmetry between the yellow row and the none blooming one 1/3-2/3, that is pleasing to the eye. Love the rich colors and the focused depth of field with both FG and BG in clear focus. Great work !

The light here seems quite diffused and it has given these sunflowers a more gentle and romantic look than is often the case Carlo. I like the composition with the angled line between blooms and buds. Beautiful. Warm regards Rosemary

C'est aussi le temps des tournesols au Quιbec.C'est un trθs beau sujet ΰ photographier. Ici le champs est encore jeune et il y a encore plusieurs fleurs qui ne sont pas ouvertes mais c'est superbe.

lovely shot this! Fields of flowers are great subjects but it is not easy taking images like this. Your POV is perfect as is the clarity, but it is the soft light that adds that little touch of atmosphere and magic. Beautifully executed and presented. I love it! Stunning work!

Yes, the season of sunflowers has arrived to delight the photographer. I like this composition with the strip of yellow placed obliquely across the frame and nicely surrounded by green. Good saturated colours and excellent sharpness throughout.

Ciao Carlo,
un' immagine meravigliosa sia per la bellezza e la luce emmessa dai girasoli sia per la tua composizione artistica che e' piu' di una presentazione della fioritura e la trasformazione del campo. L' illuminazione e la gestione dei colori sono superbe. La diagonale ed il modo in cui i girasoli si sono precipitati nel quadro danno un dinamismo magnifico, lo sfondo ci porta un contrasto delizioso. Oltre che l' effetto gratificante di questo fiume giallo, mi piace molto come ogni girasole sia distinto. Complimenti e grazie!

This is such a wonderful photo of the sunflows in full bloom. They are very cheerful and its like a bust of sunshine on my screen. Excellent POV from higher up allow the view towar the rest of the sun flowers still yet to bloom. Excellent details and beautiful colors.

Mi piacciono molto i campi di girasoli che sono come migliaie di soli girando verso l'astro magistrale tutto il giorno come si fosse il loro Dμo.
Buona composizione con la banda di girasoli aperti contrastando bene con il resto dei fiori giΰ passati.

altra ottima foto del genere bucolico, molto equilibrata nella composizione per la bella contrapposizione di forme e di colori.
Ottima anche la luce. Peccato che la definizione appaia leggermente sacrificata. Colpa di un crop troppo esasperato?
