Photographer's Note

I do not know how old is this building but it must be over 400 years old, of the 16th century, of perhaps older. It was part of the fortifications of the city.
Honfleur is a small and very beautiful city. The population is about 8'000 and it is placed at the estuary of the Seine (the river that crosses Paris). This fact made from this city an historical one. From here, departed the expedition of Samuel de Champlain in 1608 to found the city of Quebec in Canada.
A plaque on this building remembers this.
