America's Denali National Park is huge and the least accessible. It is over 24,500 square kilometers in size, with the highest North American Mountain - Denali (previously called Mt. McKinley).
I rented an RV from Anchorage, Alaska and drove it to the farthest campground in Denali in 2007. Only shuttle buses are permitted on the main road except for campers with reservations. Beyond the last campground all traffic is by shuttlebus. For non campers it is a roundtrip six hour ride to the end of the road at Wonder Lake.
This photo shows the Kantishna River carving through an alpine plateau.

Beautiful capture of scenic Alaska. I like the cloud formation on the mountain. Great pov and dof with nice details. Good colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi.
I must say you really impress me with some of your latest posts. This one is absolutely outstanding! Alaska, US and even America on its best. I have a photo called "The definition of Norway", and when I think about Alaska, I think about exactly this landscape (only thing missing is snow, though). Therefore, I from now on shall call this "The Definition of Alaska"! I can imagine Denali NP and the rest of Alaska was amazing!
