Photographer's Note
Basilica Sainte-Anne de Beauprι an important pilgrimage site near Quebec City.
Threatened with ruin, it was demolished in 1876 and its materials are recovered in order to build the current memorial chapel erected in 1878 on the transept of the original church. This is one of the first conservation efforts in heritage buildings.
After numerous reconstructions, the basilica will be officially dedicated in 1976 by Cardinal Maurice Roy.

1)the contrast between the hard-edged architecture against the soft lines of the sky and water
2)the balance between the architectural elements
3)the sqaure crop and black and white presentation

beautiful long term exposure, the washed out clouds... Also good idea to choose B W and a short focal length to highlight the well. Good work!
