Photographer's Note
For me, the best moments in photography are when I know I've come out with something beautiful without having to do a lot of post-processing. This is one that certainly felt that way.
This is, I believe, the Ogwen Valley in Snowdonia, though I'm willing to stand corrected if it's not. We were driving along here to try to find Llyn Idwal and hike it before sunset. It didn't work out, and I didn't get there until the following morning. (My wife didn't ever make it to Llyn Idwal, opting to sleep in rather than join me on a sunrise hike. I can't say as I blame her).
Northern Wales is a fantastic place. I had found Ireland beautiful, but for mountains I think northern Wales is far superior.

Hi Clark,
Very nice composition. I like that you have included the rocks to give some interest in the foreground, the diaganol lines in the fields are a nice addition and add depth. The colours and light throughout are excellent, very well exposed. Very good work indeed. TFS

Hi Clark.
Yes, this is the impression I had on Wales. The photo really shows the beauty of that landscape, but I think the note is great too because you write about your own experiences. Maybe your recommandation is something to keep in mind. Anyway, the photo is green and varied. I like it!

Hello Clark
A lovely shot .. truely a feast for the eyes. The inclusion of the rocks in the FG add character to the shot. The lush green landscape go so well with the cloudy sky above. Excellent overall exposure control. The diagonal line extending from the lower right corner of the frame guides the eyes of the observer right from the greenery through the entire landscape, up to the hills .. till high up in the sky. I wonder whether the white dot in the sky is the moon !
Lovely shot.

Hi Clark,
I agree with you about North Wales, it is a wonderful place, in particular those mountains around Snowdonia. Excellent POV here, the stones in the foreground add some depth and our look goes through the valley to the mountains in the background. Colours are just incredible !

Olivier
