Hi Eric, this is an incredible depiction of the wreck. The effect of the 1 second on the water in combination with the B&W is truly exceptional. It is an expertly taken shot. Sorry I don't have any smilies left, but couldn't resist this superb photography. Have you seen the shipwreck on Maghercloher Beach, Bunbeg Donegal? It would be right up your alley. Have a lovely weekend, Lisa

Hello Eric,
Nice view, well managed with the B&W and the long time exposure drawing lines around the shreck. It provides a feeling of movement staying at the same place.

Hello Eric,
I love the water in slow motion around the ship, contrasting with the perfeclty sharp wood; perfect use of a slow shutter speed. Excellent composition and vertical framing. And a good idea to convert to b&w, it lends your shot a timeless quality.
TFS and have a nice weekend,
Dasha

Hi Eric,
great BW shot, Impressive the difference between the sharpness of the wood part an the blur of the water.
I alsolike the use of BW.
Very interesting shot.

hi Eric,
I remember your previous upload in colour, but this one really surpasses it. Absolutely a grat shot. The sharpness, exposure and dof are all spot on, with wonderfully smooth wave movements...it all adds up to give this image a time-travelling kind of feel, science-fiction from centuries gone by. Terrific post!

Hello Eric
good use of the wide lens and tripod, to get a living shot (blurred water around the ship) contrasting with the steady state of the wreck. The conversion in B&W insists on the wood veins
Congratulations

I would adore more your decision to use a higher contrast of the scene though unrealistic, painting-like effect which you've already gain seems far enough.. Dynamic surrounding of bizarre construction which after a while starts to form into the remaining of wooden boat can be easily the cover of the book of Robinson Cruzoe's adventures.. Almost everything what the ocean brings beautiful and dangerous somehow is well visible here.. Like the idea!
with regards, agn
