Another try of Sunset shot.
This time I tried to get a sunset behind a tree where you will only see the intense light peeking on the tree branches. tried to make it sharper but I took this picture with low pixel setting causing me some blurr when I tried to enlarge.
The photo was taken in Bulacan. the green field is actually a Bermuda grass plantation. where a family is taking care of this, I have another shot of them doing the actual planting but the quality is bad so I did not dare to post it. The cages are for fighting cock. Cock/rooster fighting this is one of the popular legal gambling in the Philippines

Special picture, allthough it is too dark, the combination of the worm sun flare with the green fields is great.

Very creative idea in shooting a sunset, Verge! I like the colors of the sun (and its rays) and the bermuda grass! It would have been wonderful if the bamboos in the foreground were more visible. This is a very nice presentation of a typical Philippine home backyard. rgds.

Hmmm...now I see where the peeking was coming from :) This is a tricky shot Verge and I know what you have had in mind. The high latitudes of contrast make this almost an impossible shot. You almost lost the sky too. See whether you could play around with Highlight/Shadow in Photoshop CS Verge. I think it could bring out the detail in the grass/shadows.
