Photographer's Note
In Thailand there are many forms and designs of Tuk TuK, the three wheeler or also known as auto rickshaw. It's a common form of transport in South and South East Asia. These vehicles are very popular in particular in heavy congested traffic,because the tuk tuk always can find a way through the jam. Most of them use a small motorcycle engine and consequently are not very environment friendly, they are noisy and pollute, but they are loved by locals and foreign tourists alike. In Southern Thailand's Songkhla they use this mega vehicles offering sitting space for many more passenger then usual - not always following the traffic rules of course

One of the icons of SE Asia indeed!
Maybe the design varies from country to country but the principle is the same, giving cheap, individual public transportation...
The scene is well framed, showing a bunch of happy people on the go including the driver!

Hello Urs,
I like this picturesque capture :) But the most "valuable" about this scene is, of course, the facial expressions of the people in this tuk tuk!
Good photo of the tuk tuk... especially in comparison with a modern car going behind it :)
