Me, my Family and Friends, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

This is a simple and very usual image showing cattle united to face a strange people that invaded their area. They were far from me but my zoom got them. In the background you can see some old araucarias. In the lower area of this photo we can see pasture and some orange flowers, that plant is called "Living-room's captain or milker" but it has another names. It is a very usual plant in pastures and if an animal eat its leaves it will be die in few time. Animals know this but sometimes they can eat them by mistake and accidents aren't rare.

Aqui vemos uma vista do gado reunido e encarando o invasor de sua αrea. Eles estavam bem distantes de mim mas o meu zoom os alcanηou. Vemos ao fundo algumas velhas araucαrias. No primeiro plano vemos a pastagem e no meio dela algumas flores alaranjadas. Estas plantas sγo conhecidas como "capitγo de sala ou leiteiro" mas possuem outros nomes tambιm. Ι uma planta extremamente venenosa e o gado sabe disso e a evita, mas ΰs vezes ao comer o capim eles ingerem alguma folha por engano e acidentes deste tipo nγo sγo raros.

A lovely catch of the white cows.......of course all cows are not white, as my daughter sitting by me just tells........and they seem so calm and sincere............know the science of botany, as to eat which plant and leave the harmful one.

Hello Jorge,these cattle look quite different to cattle here in the U.K.
Are they reared for their meat or their milk?
I like the way that they are all looking at you.
There are some interesting features in the bg too.
Good sharpness;and you managed the bright light very well.

Lindas e todas vestidas de branco! Parecem todas muito calmas e disciplinadas.

Esse zoom na boiada branquinha, contrastando com o verde dos campos ficou muito bom!
O contraste de luz forte no primeiro plano e sombras no segundo ficou excelente tambιm, com destaque para a presenηa de araucαrias ao fundo!

Eis aqui mais uma entre tantas para juntar ΰ excelente apresentaηγo que desde sempre tem vindo a fazer da terra onde vive!
Ι belo retrato de conjunto, da manada ao sol rodeada de verde que, afinal, pode nem ser assim tγo saudαvel para a bicharada.
Sempre achei os bovinos e caprinos muito fotogιnicos, mas o certo ι que quase nγo tenho nada de jeito com eles, pelo que ainda aprecio mais este seu trabalho, que acho muito conseguido. O ar deles e delas faz-me lembrar esta minha com cabras.

Love how all this ghost cow staring at you and not a happy one, looks like they can really charge at you and chase you away. They are very rare color, at least I have not seen them before. Great details with beautiful and naturall surrounding. Simply charming ranch image with ghost cattles :) Scary, Moohaha.
