Petropolis Metropolitan Chatedral
In the Neo-Gothic Style, inspired by the church in the North of the France, constructed in 1884 by order of Dom Pedro II, was dedicated to So Pedro de Alcntara, patron saint of the Brazilian Empire.

In this church rest in peace the Imperor D. Pedro II and his wife Tereza Cristina.

Petropolis is a city 60Km far from Rio de Janeiro, in the mountains direction.
