Photographer's Note

Gaspar is a litlle city from Santa Catarina State, southern Brazil, in the European Valley. There are many rice plantations around and some nice views to enjoy. Gaspar is very close to Blumenau, maybe the most Germanic city of Brazil, where this month we have Oktoberfest.

Composiηγo perfeita! E que tranqόilidade essa imagem passa! Esse tapetγo verde ao fundo ficou muito bom, e charrete dando vida ΰ foto! Muito boa essa!

Hum... I passed by Gaspar during my vacations on July... but I haven't seen this open field. I liked the several tones of green. Composition is quite good, with the pathway in diagonal and the waggon in the bottom part. Nice.

Hi Jose. This is a classic with that horse-drawn carriage. He wouldn't be wide to let the horses get a fright or they may end up in the lake. Beautiful cropping and colours. TFS. Murray.

I like the green which is the dominant color in this compo, and the high POV over the rice fields and lake. The lines and curve provide a graphical impact and also well timed capture of the horse cart adding interest and movement.

A little bit unusual but very nice pov. The top view works very well here. The green is so beautiful. I like the old horse cart also adding life to this composition.

Hi Jose,
Excellent composition with great lines in vertikal and horizontal lines. They way you framed this with the coach and horses is very subtile but very clever choosen.
You have really a good eye in seeing things and all i can say is that your work deserves the best glass on the market, so the famous 70-200 2.8 IS USM would give you much more in detail, brilliance and sharpness.
Yes i know...it's expensive :-(
But i like your picture a lot, even it is taken with the Tamron ;-)

caramba, de onde vocκ tirou essa foto? Sem dϊvida uma excelente ponto de vista e muito bem ajudado por sua tele. Gosto do βngulo fechado e das diagonais da plantaηγo. Imagino que vocκ tenha esperado alguns instantes para que a charrete entrasse em cena. O fato ι que nγo poderia ter ficado melhor com essa adiηγo. Belo composiηγo!

Hα muitos anos nγo vou a Gaspar. Esta ι a ϊnica foto da cidade aqui no TE. A composiηγo estα linda - por um lado romβntica, com a charrete de passeio em volta do lago e por outro lado o excelente grafismo dado pelos campos de arroz. As cores estγo espetaculares.

Voltando aos tempos antigos , ficou fantastica esta tua foto 5 estrelas , gostei muito dos campos de arroz , a charrete ficou demais ,bom enquadramento da foto , esta tua foto a preto e branco acho que tambem ficava bonita anos 1800 , parabens!!!

Bonito o local, a carroηa estilo antigo, nos faz lembrar tempos passados, na ιpoca do coroneis e suas fazendas e a escravidγo...a ϊnica coisa que quebra essa volta a otempo ι a presenηa do poste de energia elιtrica que no meu ver poluiu um pouco sua imagem...

This is such a classic shot. It bring back to the past, while you still keep the present time feeling. Very nice in showing all the details in the picture. The green is good here. I also like the coconut trees there.

to lutando contra a minha preguica, mas vc tem toda a razao. Pelo menos os amigos merecem um cuidado especial. Aos poucos eu vou cubrindo a sua proliferacao de imagens bonitas e impecaveis. Fica realmente dificil em escrever uma critica. Fica no fim somente o elogio e a detalhe que esta foto ficaria melhor ainda sem o poste eletrico ;-)

Beautiful landscape captured from a high POV, very good colors and composition, the carriage give a nice touch to your shot, if the light posts weren't there your picture would look like an old shot when the carriages used to be the way of transportation. For that reason I'm doing a WS to see how it looks.

I like the criss-crossing diagonal lines, and the fresh green colour is very attractive!
I notice the old carriage pulled by two white horses, and assume they are a part of Oktoberfest celebrations...
