Photographer's Note

I visited the cathedral many times and this was the one with the better light, anyway it was closed again. I am posting it again only because I can show you the bell tower of the cathedral, a gift of Spanish colony of Brazil. As I told you before you can read the cathedral, belfry and baptistery as the image of the main altar during a mass. The cathedral would be hands imploring to the sky and giving an offer to God, the baptistery would be the bread and the belfry would be the sacred calyx.
In the image you can see three of the evangelists near the subterranean entrance. Some meters ahead, behind of cathedral, there is the area where the embassies are located, an area I had no time to explore. Portugal, Russia and USA embassies are the closer ones of the cathedral, coincidences ? NO!

Visitei essa catedral vαrias vezes e desta ϊltima vez tive a melhor luz para fotos, contudo a catedral estava fechada novamente. Estou mostrando esse prιdio mais uma vez para mostrar o campanαrio. Como jα disse antes, devemos ler a catedral, o batistιrio e o campanαrio como um altar durante a missa. Sendo que a catedral sγo as mγos a implorar aos cιus, oferecendo a dαdiva, o batistιrio seria o pγo e o campanαrio seria o cαlice com vinho.
O campanαrio foi presente da colτnia espanhola no Brasil. Logo atrαs da catedral estα a αrea destinada ΰs embaixadas, uma regiγo que nγo explorei. Bem pertinho da catedral estγo as embaixadas dos EUA, da Rϊssia e de Portugal, nγo uma coincidκncia.
