Port of Santa Cruz Cabrália in Porto Seguro, Bahia. low tide, in Rio João de Tiba.
Santa Cruz de Cabrália stands out in the Discovery Coast for its natural beauties and historical / cultural.
The story shows the great importance of this City to Brazil, since it was in the Red Crown Beach where the ships landed Pedro Alvares Cabral in 1500 and where we celebrated the 1st Mass in Brazil on April 26, 1500.
Santa Cruz de Cabrália has practically deserted beaches, navigable rivers, ideal for nautical sports and excursions, and towns in bucolic aspect.
The city lies between the Rio João de Tiba and a natural breakwater, located in Bay Cabrália. In this area there was, initially, the village of Santa Cruz, founded by the donee Pero do Campo Tourinho Aimorés destroyed by Indians in 1564. The site corresponds to the current area of Pataxó Tribe Indian Reservation, established in the Red Crown, and is one of the most significant icons of the Discovery Coast.

G’day Marco,
Your photo looks an interesting place and worthy of a photo shoot. First thing to make your image better is to get the horizon straight. If you do not get it right when taking the shot, you can straighten it up on your computer at home, but to do this you will need to widen your shot to give you room to crop the area leaving you with the picture you want. I have learnt to do this in all my photos.
Secondly, while the river may have been your aim here, that little boat on the right would have been a very interesting point to have featured and would have held our attention better. Again, taking in more of the scene in your shot at a higher definition would allow you to play with it at home and give you the image your after.
The more you shoot, the more great images you will have.
Cheers from Australia, Max.
