TRILHA NO PLATÔ PARA A CACHOEIRA DA FUMAÇA
TRACK ON THE PLATEAU TO REACH THE FUMAÇA/SMOKE WATERFALLS
To reach the CACHOEIRA DA FUMAÇA/SMOKE WATERFALLS one has to go up the hill for 2km and then walk 4km more on the plateau so one can see them!
I took this picture to show a bit how the track on the plateau was! One can notice here some poles, ropes and signs and one would say that's not natural. Unfortunately, the region has two high seasons: July and December/February, when many more people visit the place and in order to prevent them to step on local vegetation (thus spoiling nature around), in certain parts of the trail it was necessary to use them. Guided tours never do that, but many travel by themselves and insist on not respecting nature (and local law)!

Hello Ney,
If you hadn't mentioned it I would have thought the ropes were for holding onto to avoid falling into the water ;-) I like the point of view looking across what appears to me to be a series of stepping stones. I like the overall palette of tones and the reflections of the sky in the water.

Ciao Neyvan,
bella immagine di questo sentiero d'acqua che grazie al tuo buon POV, guida bene lo sguardo a seguirlo, dando così movimento alla scena.
Mi piace la varietà di colori che contrastano bene tra loro.
Well done!

Bom trabalho!

Hello Ney
The stepping stones add superb lead in lines, & natural linear perspective. I like the reflected blue skylight & clouds on the water surface. Wonderful sharpness & light contrasts. Tfs!

Hi Neyvan,
Great shot, as you said, the poles and ropes may be a little bit of disruption in the nature, but it didn't prevent us from enjoying the beauty of nature. Sometimes extreme measure have to be done in order to protect our fragile environment an its beauty. That why in National Parks everywhere there are fences and unnatural walkway being built. Great shot here with eh stones and water way leading us in. Beautiful colors, good clarity and love the little bit of reflection of the blue sky. Thanks

Hi Neyvan,
The shallow irrigation ditch catches striking reflections of sky rocks and poles as it add great depth on its way to the distant hills.
Very clear colors and excellent sharpness to this lovely landscape.

Very interesting trail you have there :D
I sure hope those rocks are stable enough!
Taking care of the habitat is so important I can't believe the tour guides are stupid enough to avoid those, they should realize that preserving the site is what earns them a living!

Hi Ney,
I've read your Note with interest, and the Note (in combination with the photo) suddenly reminded me of Bradbury's story "A Sound of Thunder": as far as I remember, in the story the travellers through the Time were allowed to walk along only on a certain path.. otherwise the whole balance of the Universe would be ruined :)
The photo is very interesting, too: I like the vertical format and the perspective view, with these stones in the water - they naturally take the look directly to the distant horizon!
Warm regards,
Elena
