The orchidaceae grow generally in trees using them only as support to search light. They are not plants parasites. They possess many and varied forms and colors, since this plant multiplies easily between similar species.
The orchidaceae belongs more than to a family of plants subdivided in 1,800 genera and each genera have one or hundreds of species. The total number of species oscillates around 35.000, spread on all the world.
At the WS on see the interior the Orquidário de Santos where if it carried through the annual exposition of orchidaceae.
