One of the highest points in the city, at 1,293 meters, Morro do Chapu ( Hill of the Hat )is formed by a plateau with low vegetation and gathers several species of wild flowers, several springs and waterfalls. It has a rich fauna, wolves, armadillos and anteaters. Among the birds, yams and quails stand out. From its top we have a privileged view of Furnas Lake and its canyons and you can still see the cities of Capitlio, Guap, Alpinpolis and So Jos da Barra.

Um dos pontos mais altos da cidade, a 1.293 metros, o Morro do Chapu formado por planalto com vegetao rasteira e rene vrias espcies de flores silvestres, diversas nascentes e cachoeiras. Possui uma fauna rica lobos, tatus e tamandus. Entre as aves , destacam-se inhambus e codornas. Do seu topo temos uma vista privilegiada do Lago de Furnas e seus cnions e ainda consegue-se avistar as cidades de Capitlio, Guap, Alpinpolis e So Jos da Barra.
