SECRETS OF NATURE III, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

Here we can enjoy a little piece of atlantic forest. I found this old tree located at side of an abyss, there is a stream and a cascade around 15 meters bellow the trunk that is covered with bromeliads, some of them with flowers; in the right corner we can see a huge leaf of a giant fern called "xaxim" it is a menaced especie and protected by law. If you think sharpness isn't so nice I can say there was the soft mist of the morning. I hope you enjoy this natural view.

Aqui vemos um pedacinho de mata atlβntica, esta αrvore estα localizada ΰ beira de um abismo, hα um cσrrego e uma cascatinha cerca de 15 metros abaixo deste tronco, coberto de bromιlias, algumas em flor. No canto direito vemos uma enorme folha de Xaxim, que ι uma espιcie de samambaia gigante ameaηada de extinηγo e protegida por lei. A nitidez nγo estα lα estas coisas pois a paisagem estava carregada com a nιvoa tκnue da manhγ. Espero que apreciem esta rara vista natural.

Me gusta esta foto-- muy atmosferica,
muy bien detallada; la naturaleza y los
verdes se pueden apreciar muy bien debido
a su biena nitidez. Cabe resaltar un muy

For European eyes a real paradise. Each square-centimeter seems to flow over with life here. The wonderful light you caught here creates an a bit mystic atmosphere - a beautiful effect. A really stunning scenery and picture as well ...

gostei dessa foto, e achei a qualidade boa dela, e oportundo esse registro, pois daqui um tempo veremos nossa mata atlβntica sσ em foto mesmo, jα que o pouco que resta dela esta acabando tambιm. Guarde ela mesmo!

Hello Jorge,
This is a beautiful, atmospheric shot of an enchanted, and enchanting, place. The composition is well balanced, with the cluster of bromeliads taking centre stage. The slight mistiness adds to the charm, the colours are very natural and the delicacy of the foliage is shown clearly. Perhaps the very bright green leaves at bottom left could be removed?

I can see the soft morning mist in this beautiful picture of exotic nature. It enhances the atmosphere. The lighting is natural and palette of colors rich. What a pretty place!

One thing is for sure, here we see details I don't find in my forest on the other side of the Atlantic!
Amazing lushness in the vegetation, the fine light seeping in from above adds to the mystery in the scene...
Sharp fine details and vivid colours, the situation is well framed!

Esta imagem de selva ι impressionante. Falas de um pedacinho de mata, mas a mim parece-me nos confins de uma floresta virgem inacessνvel. Gosto bastante da diagonal das bromιlias e do abismo. Imagino que nγo seja uma captura fαcil, mas esta imagem trasmite um atmosfera fabulosa.
