Jerivαs & plantations, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

Here we can see many jerivα palm-trees surrounded by plantations. We can see corn plantations in different ages, a bean plantation and in the lower area a place planted with pinus elleoti (from USA). That big tree you see in the lower corner is a Peroba-Rosa (aspidosperma polineurum), one of the most important native trees in this landscape, very rare and menaced. This is a little farm, people fight to survive in small areas and are obligated to get more production to get some money, something very difficult to get. This image was done for a very far pov. I did a WS.

Vemos aqui vαrias palmeiras-jerivα rodeadas por plantaηυes de milho em diferentes estαgios de idade, hα tambιm uma plantaηγo de feijγo e no canto inferior hα uma plantaηγo de pinus eleoti (dos EUA). A αrvore que aparece no canto inferior ι uma peroba-rosa (aspidosperma polineurum), uma das αrvores mais importantes da antiga mata nativa e que vem se tornando muito rara e ameaηada. Aqui vemos uma pequena propriedade onde o agricultor se vκ obrigado a plantar a pouca terra que possui de maneira bem concentrada, tentando ganhar o seu sustento e algum dinheiro para gastar na cidade, algo cada vez mais difνcil.Esta foto foi feita a grande distβNCIA, fiz um workshop com outra versγo.

Olα Jorge, cα estα mais uma bela composiηγo feita com retalhos de diferentes verdes que foste apanhando por aν ;-) Esta composiηγo estα melhor no encaixe das manchas, mas no WS atrai-me o amarelo brilhante no topo da imagem que ficou mais evidenciado do que aqui. Devia estar vento pois as folhas das palmeiras parece que estγo a mexer. Bem bonita.

Hi Jorge,
a nice composition with the different shades of green and the loose collocation of palm trees. Sharpness could be a bit better, I think it΄s due to the compression, grassy landscapes need bigger files.. do you know that we can go up to 300KB now ?

I like this green tone divided into so many shades by the natural look of the field. Very nice POV from this angle.

I see that the plantation is well kept and the palm/trees are nicely spotted here and there to make the landscape more interesting.

An interesting combination of crop makes up this fine composition!
The colours match (and contrast) well, and the geometric pattern is interesting...
The diagonal effect in the composition is fine, and the palm trees are the spice..!
