Photographer's Note

Colonization of northern of Paranα was in the middle of the process when the II WW finished. Americans used many jeep during the war and after that they sold them and many of these rustic vehicles came to my region, where it was necessary a very strong car to cross the roads across the jungle, after 1952 Brazil begun to produce jeeps too.
I saw the owner bringing his chainsaw to be fixed and I noticed the car and took a photo. You can see a curious "anchor" at side of the car, it was being used to facilitate the driver to go up and enter in the car again because he has a problem with his leg and hips.
You can see my old and new home here too. In the sidewalk we have a wild papaya tree, that was born in that spot by chance. Ahead there is a star fruit tree and in the far BG you can see the upper part of my persimmon tree covered with fruits.
